Michael Wray has been working in the Social
Enterprise sector since 2004, and has performed extensive field consulting work
with SE in Asia and Africa.
He is a mentor
to Social Entrepreneurs in the Santa Clara University Global Social Benefit
Incubator program, a member of the San Francisco+acumen Leadership Team,
and an advisor to start up ventures including Whirlwind Wheelchairs, Method Seven and UntreedReads
In the USA he
counsels to small businesses and runs regular workshops for the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Before 2004
Michael held senior positions in Fortune 500 and start up companies, including
his own business. He has lived in and worked in many countries throughout the
world.
He has a
Masters in Engineering from Cambridge University, UK, and an MBA from INSEAD , France
Tony Hall has been active in the Fair Trade movement since the middle of 2003, when he moved on from a career in high technology enterprise software, mainly in the Marketing and Business Development areas.
Initial work centered on the Asia Fair Trade Forum Business SCAN Program, 5 day diagnoses of Fair Trade (FT) organizations, leading to recommendations for business efficiency improvements.
In 2007/2008 eCommerce and Finance Workshops were held for the AFTF members and Tony was appointed as Adviser for the AFTF Board.
Tony has worked for VSO in Ecuador developing a new Fair Trade retailing-restaurant-museum complex in Quito. He has also run programs in East Timor with the Women Handicraft producers for the Alola Foundation and has been invited back to re-launch the program after the recent civil unrest. He has also worked in Palestine with the Holy Land Cooperative Society.
